The rise of great venues such as the Woodbury Lakes Farmer's Market and Hudson Eats, along with the recent revamping of the Woodbury-Waterloo Premium Outlets has changed the way we look at this city.
We now find ourselves traveling down Cedar Lake Road more often than ever before, and these changes have inspired us to highlight some of our favorite spots in Woodbury.
Let's not waste any more time, here are some great places to eat around the city.
Hudson Eats is a relatively new addition to the city, and it has already become one of our favorite lunch spots. Located in a one-of-a-kind location, just next door to the Woodbury
Lakes Farmer's Market across from the water tower, Hudson Eats is a spectacular new food court that offers a variety of different options to all sorts of customers.
Few food items in this world can satisfy us quite like a good old-fashioned donut. Our favorite place in Woodbury for donuts is the Longfellow Coffee Co., located at 7510 Hudson Boulevard. Here they bake their donuts fresh throughout the day and offer up some great classic donut flavors as well as unique offerings each day of the week.
If you're looking for some good ol' American comfort food, look no further than Woodbury's very own Bistro 83. This place has some of the best burgers in town and they've got a full bar to boot. Bistro 83 is located at the intersection of Radio Drive and Tamarack Road, across from Woodbury West Middle School.
Another great restaurant for you burger lovers out there is The Hub Bar and Grill, located at 7520 Hudson Boulevard. This place has a very relaxed atmosphere with a full three bars spread throughout the entire restaurant. They've got great craft beer on tap, all your favorite bar food classics, and even some great wines for you oenophiles out there.
Entertainment and Nightlife
Woodbury also comes to life at night. Whether you are looking to catch a Twins game, an exciting concert at the Xcel Energy Center, or maybe even go bowling at one of our great local spots, Woodbury has got something for every type of person.
For those who enjoy catching multiple sporting events on their off time, it doesn't get much better than Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub. This place offers a full bar and great menu items that provide the perfect atmosphere for watching your favorite team take home another win.
For bars and music venues, you can never go wrong with the Pourhouse located at 233 South Robert Street. They've got a great atmosphere and even better live music downtown Woodbury.
Conclusion
Woodbury is a great city with even better food and entertainment options than ever before. It's one of our favorite spots to take the family out for some good eats, it has plenty of nightlife options if you're looking to get your dance on, and it's also got some wonderful shopping opportunities.
